Great news from the Tulane Business Plan...
We received 93 Business Plans from 51 Universities. Thanks to all our contestants from Canada, Chile, Democratic Republic of the Congo, France, Germany, Indonesia, United Kingdom and United States. Thanks to all our web page visitors that took us to 142,317 hits during these past two months!!! We are looking forward for the second round.

Sun Energy Group, is moving forward with its project of building a power plant that turns trash into electricity, they are looking now for land to build the plant. They are now negotiating a deal to buy property along the Industrial Canal. Congratulations to Mr. Hernandez (our guest speaker on September 15 2008) on moving forward with his project and bringing development to the New Orleans...

TEA Panel Discussion: The New New Orleans for...
On November 24th, we had a panel discussion where a group of leading entrepreneurs from New Orleans spoke about the “New New Orleans for Entrepreneurs” and the business opportunities that the city and the region is currently offering.
Take a look at our Entrepreneurial Exchange Workshop from November 21st, featuring some of the most influencial social entrepreneurs of the region.
TEA Workshop
On November 21st we had an Entrepreneurial Exchange Workshop, where several well known regional entrepreneurs discussed the roles and importance of social entrepreneurship. We finished the day with a class by Dr. John Elstrott on how to construct a business plan, based on the Sambazon case.
TEA Speaker Series
During the fall semester, we had great speakers at Tulane, such as D’Juan Hernández, who shared his vision about the future of alternative energies; Christopher Skinner, who talked about the online advertising industry; Steve Curnette, who shared his thoughts on the mortgage credit crisis and John Elstrott, with an outstanding case analysis on Whole Foods.
